Red Hook Crit Slideluck Bikeshow II Call for Entries

Photography by Winston Struye

This April, in collaboration with the Red Hook Crit, Slideluck is curating a show of bicycle-related works by local and international artists, in celebration of the art of cycling!

Submit your work to Red Hook Crit Slideluck Bikeshow II!  This show is all about bikes. Whether you ride a bike and make art inspired by this, make art directly about bicycles/travel, use bicycles to make sculptures, or make custom bikes, share a series of thoughtful images with us! This year’s curator is Ed Spurr, an avid cyclist who lives in Brooklyn, and who was involved in the early days of the Red Hook Crit. Spurr works at Matthew Marks Gallery and curated Joyride a bicycle themed exhibition at Marlborough Gallery for the 2014 Bicycle Film Festival in New York.

To get some inspiration, check out last year’s event here.  The submission deadline is Saturday, April 18th, 2015.

How to Submit:

Follow the instructions on the Slideluck submissions page for submitting still-image series via our Global Sponsor, Viewbook. Multimedia and video submissions may be sent through this form on Submittable.
