What is SLIDELUCK?
SLIDELUCK started to get photographers out of their studios and into a common space for sharing and exploration. This idea quickly grew to become a big success. This first SLIDELUCK took place in a small Seattle backyard, but has since transformed into an event that takes place in studios, lofts, and galleries across the world; even setting a Guinness world record for the largest recorded potluck along the way.
Who is Sandbox Studio?
Sandbox produces photography and video content for retail and consumer product clients nationally. Sandbox has a holistic process for managing large-scale photography productions for brand passionate clients. With a primary emphasis on creative, Sandbox applies a production framework that supports the creative process and simultaneously manages the details.
Sandbox Studio’s highly transformable 15,000 square foot studio space also serves as a wonderful venue for events, giving them all the right tools for a successful SLIDELUCK experience.
All submissions must be received by July 22nd, 2013 and can be submitted at http://slideluck.com/new-submissions/. Please submit under the Portland V link after you share your album through Viewbook. Our curated slideshows generally consist of 20-25 artists, with each artist featuring up to five minutes of original work. In most cases, this is a slideshow of between 15 and 40 images. Every slideshow is set to music or an audio recording that the artist has selected. We generally accept all types of submissions, as long as the work can be represented fairly in a slideshow format. Pre-produced multimedia submissions are also welcome, as long as they fit within our guidelines and format.
