Five reasons to attend the Slideluck Potshow in Vancouver

1. It’s a tongue-twister of a slide show and potluck culinary event held in dozens of cities around the world each year, and for the first time in Vancouver this Saturday. The non-profit event brings established and up-and-coming artists together with their local community in a non-commercial setting, over multimedia slide shows and home-cooked food. Promoter and arts group W2, which was recently evicted from its former home in the Woodward’s Building, say this week’s dinner is planned in light of “recent crackdowns on cultural spaces in Vancouver.” Say that five times fast.
